The Management Committee at its recent meeting discussed in detail with member club AFC Moorlands a request by the club to assist it with a problem of a shortage of players. The Management Committee after a lengthy discussion accepted the plight of the club and, under the powers of the Competition rule 14 B, allowed the club to resign its First Team. The club will retain its position in Division Two.
The decision was made subject to the approval of the Lancashire Football Association. The first team record of the club will now be expunged from the Competition rule 12 C.
